Energetická náročnost vozby na traťovém úseku

Abstract

MYSLIVEC, Lukáš. Energy Demand of Train Driving on Track Section. Ostrava, 2025, Bachelor’s Thesis. Ostrava: VSB – Technical university of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Transport. 71 pages, Thesis supervisor: Ing. Jaromír Široký, Ph.D. Bachelor thesis is dealing with examination of the energy demand of train driving on a railway track section between Frýdek-Místek and Český Těšín. In the introductory (theoretical) part, there are performed an analysis of track conditions and an analysis of passenger transport operations on this track. The documents (Route Book, Track Profile Drawing, Timetable) on the basis of which the analysis is performed are also described. The main (computational) part solves the calculation of the driving parameters of the choice battery passenger trains (more precisely, battery electric multiple units), which could be operated on the specified track section in the future. The calculations are based on the mathematical slope model of the track, which is used to construct the tachograms. According to the assignment, these calculations are performed for two specified train driving variants: stopping at railway stations and railway stops; stopping at railway station and railway stops and at all main (entrance) railway signals. The next part contains an evaluation of the achieved results of the choice battery trains and a comparison of travel times with the currently operated units (Regionova) on the solved track. The calculation files are Microsoft Office Excel documents attached in the appendix of this bachelor thesis: The first appendix (A) is related to the theoretical part and contains the processed data about the track, the second appendix (B) represents the practical part of the work and contains the created tachograms.
