Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the ergonomic aspects of the use of exoskeletons in industrial environments, with a focus on the physical workload of workers. The aim of the thesis is to analyse these aspects of use and assess their potential to reduce the physical demands of work activities. The theoretical part defines ergonomics and industrial environment in relation to physical workload and its consequences, particularly in relation to musculoskeletal disorders. Subsequently, exoskeletons are characterized in terms of their operating principles, benefits, limitations, legislative framework, and their use in industry. The practical part is based on the analysis of a questionnaire survey focused on the subjective perception of the observed areas when performing work activities without the use of an exoskeleton and with its use, including the evaluation of the exoskeleton itself. Based on the obtained findings and results, the potential of exoskeletons to contribute to the reduction of physical workload of workers in industrial environments is evaluated.
