Abstract

The thesis objective is searching for solutions to increase a throughput and quality of automobile light production line by means of a simulation model within Witness software environment. The first section describes the corporate history, key manufacturing process aspects and shows production factors affecting the production itself. Next section outlines main features of automobile headlights production line and describes Witness software itself. Simulation experiment implementation and a proposal of production line enhancement is also inseparable part of the thesis. Finally, a technical and economical evaluation of proposed solution is stated at the end of the work.
