Abstract

This master thesis deals with the design of a passenger companion car for RoLa trains, which allow the transport of freight vehicles and their crew by rail. The aim of the thesis is to create a modern and functional solution that will provide a comfortable and safe environment for the driver during transportation, while meeting all technical requirements. The work includes an analysis of the current state of rolling stock legislation, an assessment of existing solutions, an analysis of the outline of the car body, the design of the ergonomic interior and the technical parameters of the car. The proposed concept is to serve as a starting point for further design development and possible prototype production.
