Abstract

This bachelor thesis gives a contribution to the issue of grapevine cultivation in Most region. In the first chapter author describes cultivation of grapevine in general. Historical overview of viniculture in area of city Most, documented by many archival materials. This text is followed by chapter investigating the main statement of this thesis, which is connection between recession and extinction of viniculture and beginnings of brown coal mining. The last part is dedicated to recovery of viniculture wihtin reclamation efforts of the region and brings evaluation of curent state. Thesis is closed by future outlook options of vineyards potencial use for tourism.
