Abstract
This bachelor thesis looks at designing of a manipulation node which is part of a palletizing line. The topic of the work was based on documents by the TEMEX, inc. The manipulation node consists of a machine construction frame, scissor lift, picking the plank by a pneumatically operated gripper, for vertical direction is used winding the belt on the winding drum and in the horizontal direction linear gearboxes for moving the manipulator. The whole frame construction is built with aluminium item kits. The safety features of the machine were also designed according to the evaluated risks. The 3D model was designed in Autodesk Inventor 2019 software. All the requirements that were put on the construction were met. The output of this work is the design, evaluation and drawing documentation of the manipulation node.
