Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is the visualisation of fluids such as water or liquid etc. This project is focused mainly on the marching cubes algorithm, which is considered to be the base in the field of fluids visualisation. The complexity of this algorithm is very high and that is why a great portion of the computing was transferred to the GPU. For this computing, the CUDA technology of the Nvidia company is used. In the present diploma thesis, the bases of CUDA are described and used for speeding up marching cubes algorithm afterwards. The visualiton of the results was done with the aid of the pixel shader, which is presented in the conclusion. In the very last chapter, there are some graphic charts with the efficiency results reached by transferring of the computing to the GPU.
