Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the system design of heating and the process of hot water preparation by means of solar thermal collectors and an air-water heat pump in a given house. The introduction gives a general description of solar thermal collectors and heat pumps utilization. In the followings part of the thesis is carried out a calculation of heat loss in a house, and a calculation of an amount of warm non-potable water which is possible to gain from suggested solar thermal collectors, and further is calculated the necessary performance of a heat pump. The final part of the thesis describes the combination of a solar circuit and a heat pump so that the operation of the whole system is as efficient as possible. For the calculations were mainly used Standards ČSN 060210, ČSN 730540-3 issued in 2005 and the Meteonorm database for the area in which the house is situated.
