Abstract

This thesis deals with the importance of recovery on the morphology of Ti6Al4V metal powder processed in the SLM process. In the introductory part, research is conducted that dealt with similar topics such as morphology degradation, powder recycling or the very impact of powder reuse on the mechanical properties of the product. The second part describes an experiment examining the morphological properties of the undiluted powder, which was taken after ten, fifteen, twenty cycles of production. These samples were subsequently compared with virgin powder and powder that did not go through the sieving process. The samples were tested using SEM (scanning electron microscopy), optical microscopy and EBS (energy dispersive analysis) of chemical composition.
