Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the interaction of selected bullet types with defined targets from the perspective of internal, external, and primarily terminal ballistics. The work addresses energy transfer mechanisms, projectile deformation, and the response of target materials upon impact. The theoretical part summarizes fundamental physical and material principles governing ballistic effects. The experimental part evaluates the impact behavior of different projectile constructions when striking selected target materials. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of ballistic phenomena and may be applied in ammunition effectiveness assessment.
