Abstract

The thesis deals with the utilization of waste heat from a heat exchanger station located in the premises of a primary school in Havířov. Waste heat is a waste energy with a large untapped potential and many uses. The theoretical introduction of the thesis is devoted to the research in the field of waste heat generation, the possibility of its use and the principles of technology for waste energy recovery. The practical part consists of a description of the measuring apparatus used to determine the values for the subsequent indicative calculation of the heat input from the heat exchanger station. Subsequent chapters of the practical part focus on the design of a technological solution for waste heat recovery, the implementation of this system in an existing layout and the determination of the indicative ecological and environmental impact.
