Rietveldova metoda kvantitativní fázové analýzy a její využití v praxi

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on familiarization with the Rietveld method of quantitative phase analysis, which solves the biggest issue of powder diffraction – overlapping peaks. First part of thesis shows kinematic theory of x-ray diffraction, which is essential for understanding Rietveld method. Next part of thesis will focus on mathematical background for the method. Practical part of this thesis consists of examples of refinementing structures in the form of user manual. Final part will be focused on very detailed refinement of Kaolinite Zn/S with the use of software Diffrac Topas.
