Abstract

This thesis deals with the design of an experimental device whose purpose is to study fatigue property of materials in combined load in torsion and bending. In the first part we familiarize with the problem of damage due to high-frequency fatigue. Moreover, the conditions for developing test machines are set out. In the next part, the existing experimental equipment is analyzed, as well as parameters for creating new experimental equipment. The focus of the present work is on the design of a new experimental device that would minimize costs and increase simplicity. In the last part, we deal with how to choose appropriate measuring devices from measuring the force acting on the variable test sample.
