Abstract
Bachelor thesis is dealing with passenger cars gearboxes. First addressing the
theoretical description gearboxes of automobile. It then focuses on the description of
gearboxes to Škoda Octavia cars. Another part is the operational evaluation of the maximum
speed, acceleration, fuel consumption used in rated gearboxes with respekt to the price of
vehicles.
