Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the design of a hydraulic system for tensioning a metal strip. The introductory part presents a literature review focused on the structural units of a multi-track vehicle and the production technology of body parts, providing context and clarifying the purpose of the proposed hydraulic system. The thesis then includes engineering calculations, force analysis, and strength checks of the hydraulically operated clamp, including strength analysis using the finite element method. In the final chapters, the hydraulic system is designed, and instructions for its maintenance and operation are provided. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the defined objectives and a summary of the achieved results.
