Zhodnocení možnosti použití katalyzátoru u moderního lokálního topidla spalujícího dřevo

Abstract

Master thesis is dealing with the development of modern low-emission wood stove with very low heat output up to 3,8 kW and high efficiency. The introductory part consists of a description and classification of local heaters, legislation and a comparison of methodological approaches in Europe and in the world. The thesis continues with a description of the issues on wood combustion in small fireplace, elemental analysis of the fuel, description of monitored pollutants and catalysis. The practical part of this thesis starts with the statics of combustion. The main focus of this work is the design of the catalyst location and the execution of experimental combustion tests, which are presented in the last chapter. The last test also includes sample calculation of losses, power output and pollutant calculations.
