Abstract

This Master thesis deals with design of chain carousel designed for 16 passengers. The introduction provides an overview of fairground attractions categories and safety standards introduction related with Fairground Attraction. Practical part itself contains design of chain carousel and carousel drive. Furthermore, it consist the strength tests of spur gears, bevel gears, springs and bearing life test. In the last step of the practical part is performed calculation of Finite Element Methods showing the process of the strain at the critical point of carousel. The conclusion describes carousel transport, building and also maintenance instructions.
