Abstract

This thesis deals with mathematical modeling of stress-strain analysis of the position-able chair frame, or more precisely bed frame intended for the transport of patients in hospital facilities. The first part deals with the testing of medical beds, according to the standard ČSN EN 60601-2-52. Next part deals with the mathematical modeling of strength test using the finite element method (FEM). Derived procedures are further verified in several examples and implemented in the Python programming language. Own calculation algorithm is applied to the analysis of the chair frame. Results are compared with analysis performed in commercial software ANSYS Workbench.
