Abstract
The dissertation thesis is focused on the using of pumping equipment in a non-standard hydraulic high-capacity system. It discusses the possibilities of connecting different types of pump drivers in this system. The finite volume method is applied in CFD analysis of a particular pump model in order to determine its performance characteristics. The parallel connection of two booster pumps for the main pump is investigated using mathematical modeling. The work points to various operating states of high-capacity pumping module with achieved pressure and flow parameters. The interaction of the suction and discharge pump system of the entire pumping module is investigated. A scripting tool of mathematical modeling was created with automatic adjustment of individual elements in hydraulic circuit with writing into a spreadsheet program. This scripting procedure helps to solve multi-parameter mathematical tasks simply and efficiently. The developed methodology can be applied to various powerful high-capacity systems. The results of mathematical modeling became a part of the selection database for prediction of pressure and flow conditions for rescue staff in emergency situations.
