Vliv změny otáček na sací schopnosti modelového čerpadla

Abstract

PŘIKRYL, R. Effects of the Speed Change on the Model Pump Suction Capacity: Master Thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Hydromechanics and Hydraulic Equipments, 2016, 74 p. Thesis head: doc. Ing. Drábková, Sylva, Ph.D. This master thesis focuses on the issue of suction capacity of two specific pump models. Namely DORD – AA550 – B13 – B and DORD – AA700 – B8.8 – B. Elementary information about cavitation process and its impact on pump functionality are described in theoretical part of the thesis. Technical description and possible ways to pumps usage are presented as well. Practical part is focused on mathematical evaluation of measured data for different pump speed by using affine laws. Geometrical data for modelled DORD – AA550 – B13 – B pump has been acquired before the commencement of this theses. To evaluate measured NPSH3 values a numerical model of cavitation has been conducted in ANSYS CFX software. Results indicates head-drop curve setting 3% decrease in head, thus stating the NPSH3 value. The theses was created in collaboration with SIGMA Výzkumný a vývojový ústav s.r.o.
