Abstract

This thesis deals with the preparation of a layout of expedition warehouse from the provided documents of an unnamed engineering company. The main purpose of this work is to devise a complete expedition warehouse with all the necessary sections and equipment. Creation of a system of work in a particular object is also a part of the proposal. In the first part of the thesis, there is a description of the different approaches to the project mentioned before. These approaches are summarized into the overview diagram for better orientation. The following sections describe the steps that we have taken in order to determine the final layout. For ease of comparison and objective evaluation of the generated results, the proposal of warehouse is created in three variants. In the final part, they are simulated by dynamic simulation, which selects the optimal variant.
