Abstract

This thesis concerns the possibilities, how to improve production of turned small parts in series production. The start describes the theory of only turning. Further, will be mentioned other possibilities which will lead to an increased productivity in this field. The aim of the practical part is to compare the machining times for the produciton of Zapfen and Polkern parts on a single – spindle and six – spindle turning automat.
