Abstract
This master’s thesis deals with the issue of draft and choice of the proper protective material, which increases the efficiency of current airborne turbine production. Thesis resulted from cooperation with Honeywell Aerospace s. r. o. company, which is located in Hlubočky, Mariánské Údolí, Olomouc. Company ensures production, repairing of the airborne engine’s components and other airborne industry components. In the first part are defined basic principles of laser, particular types of lasers and also orientation on practical aplications of laser drilling and sawing. The second part describes testing and evaluation of particular protection options, which were implemented in Honeywell company.
