Optimalizace vybraného úseku výroby plastových oken

Abstract

The master’s thesis deals with optimization of a selected section of the plastic window production in a selected company. The theoretical part of the thesis briefly presents history of optimization of the production with emphasis on Lean manufacturing and its methodology. Special attention is paid to the 5S method. A multi-criteria decision-making is presented as a tool that makes the decision-making process easier. An analysis of the current state of the selected company is done from various perspectives such as a basis for identifying problems and bottlenecks, which are described in detail. Own proposals of the optimization are presented and their assessment and evaluation of the benefits for the selected company are conducted.
