Abstract

The Bachelor thesis deals with a design of service jack with maximum load 1 t and maximum lifting 2300 mm. In the introduction, the author compares the service jacks that are available on the market. On the basis of comparison of individual jacks the suitable design of service jack is chosen. Then the lift arm is designed and loading forces are calculated. After that the designing of the other important parts of the device follows. Next, the strength calculations of the pivots and welds are made. At the end of the thesis a technical description and a description of the function of designed service jack is noted. There is the drawing documentation attached to the thesis.
