Abstract

This thesis deals with the areas acquired data and transmission to the central data warehouse to store all the data from operational systems of the Czech Post to the needs of user requirements. In the theoretical section explains and describes how to work the central data warehouse Czech Post and its principles. The next section is then possible to get acquainted with the process of data analysis, which results obtained useful information. This process is a relatively new term called data mining. The practical part is focused on the possibilities of data mining to detect hidden relationships among data. The same time is respected from one of the methodologies that are developed for this purpose. Increasing interest in the sector generated demand even after suitable software. Included are demonstration examples of processed sample, including their evaluation. This thesis suggests other ways of developing the described issues.
