Abstract
The work deals with the design and implementation of smart motion sensor based on MEMS
technology for use on high-speed CAN bus. The MEMS MPU-9250 chip with a three-axis
accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer was chosen as the sensor. The main goal is to create a
plug-and-play smart sensor unit solution with its own measurement and configuration software and
with possibility of basic configuration via CAN bus.
