Abstract

ANNOTATION OF BACHELOR THESIS

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of motorcycle side cases for delivery of consignments. In the beginning of the thesis, a research of different motorcycle suitcases is made, and categorized according to the type of placement on the motorcycle. After taking inspiration from the research, sketches of the preliminary shape of the suitcase were made. One sketch was selected from the proposed sketches and is being further developed and modified. The selected solution is further processed in life size. The skeleton is processed, which is used instead of a motorcycle. Clay is put on the skeleton, which is further worked with special tools. I also study the ergonomic concept of the use of motorcycle trunks by the American population. A 3D model of the suitcase is developed in Rhino 7 software.
