Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with agreements on work performed outside an employment relationship and their use by a selected employer. The aim of the thesis is to explain the legal regulation of the agreement to complete a job and the agreement to perform work and to assess their practical application in a small business. The theoretical part defines dependent work, the main differences between an employment relationship and these agreements, the rules for their creation and content, working time, holiday entitlement, remuneration, public law contributions and termination of these employment relationships. The practical part is based on an anonymised case study of a selected employer and examines specific situations related to the use of these agreements in everyday business operations. The thesis shows that these agreements can be a suitable and flexible tool for a small employer, provided that they are properly set up and that the employer monitors legal limits, working time records, shift scheduling, holiday entitlement and contribution obligations. The thesis also provides practical recommendations for clearer and more legally secure use of these agreements.
