Abstract

MLOTEK, D. Design of Bearing Bracket of Passenger Railway Car Seats: Master Thesis. Ostrava: VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, The Institute of Transport, 2020, 67 p. Thesis head: Ing. Jaromír Široký, Ph.D. The thesis deals with the constructional design of a console carrying two seats in passenger railway transport. At the beginning of the work is described a possible approach to fastening seats in the interior of railway vehicles. Subsequently, there is a research of current solutions of seat mounting into the side of the car. In addition, three console designs and descriptions are made. From these designs is selected one, which is further elaborated in the form of 3D model with elaborated drawing documentation. This proposal is subject to a simplified strength analysis. Finally, it is evaluated and economically evaluated.
