Abstract

The thesis deals with structural design of a progressive pressing tool for the lower and upper plate of the lock type K020. In the introduction there is a research about the technology of cold forming and the division of forming processes according to impacting forces. Next part of the thesis regards the individual components and operations of the progressive pressing tool. In the next part of the work a suitable layout is designed, on which the overall structural design is based, together with calculations. The following part is a description of the actual tool testing and corrective actions. The last chapter deals with technical and economic analysis. The attachment to the work includes assembly drawings of the whole progressive pressing tool, production drawings of the given parts and layout.
