I deal with contours of passenger vehicles, electrical and engine units and their comparison in my diploma thesis. The result is a created programme for the calculation of narrowing.
The introductory part of the diploma thesis compares parameters (the distance of pivot journals, the length and width of a vehicle case, a wheel-base etc.) of individual passenger bogie vehicles, electrical and engine units of foreign and domestic production.
The following chapter compares contours of passenger vehicles, electrical and engine units according to ČSN 280312, UIC 505-1 and GOST 9238-83 from the database of the introductory chapter.
Another chapter describes an analytical calculation of narrowing of a vehicle both for UIC 505-1,ČSN 280312, and for GOST 9238-83. This chapter also contains flow charts for narrowing a vehicle which show the procedure of calculation up to the compilation of a narrowing chart. At the end of this chapter there is a particular calculation of narrowing for an electrical unit of 471 model and at the end of the calculation there is a table with the evaluation and overall narrowing charts.
I deal with an application programme in another chapter which I have designed for calculations of narrowing. This programme is universal for calculating a narrowing for passenger bogie vehicles and electrical and engine units. This chapter also describes the programme in detail and I highlight its advantages there.
The last chapter of my diploma thesis evaluates the created programme for the calculation of narrowing and its application into operation.
