Abstract
Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the adaptation process of new employees and its impact on labour productivity in a selected manufacturing company. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the adaptation process and assess its influence on employee performance and overall labour productivity.
The theoretical part focuses on employee adaptation, labour productivity, and questionnaire survey methods. It defines the basic concepts and factors influencing labour productivity, with particular emphasis on the human factor.
The practical part analyses the adaptation process in the company Copreci CZ s.r.o. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey, structured interviews, and internal company sources. The analysis also includes an evaluation of labour productivity in relation to the number of new employees and employee turnover.
The results show that the adaptation process can significantly influence employee performance and labour productivity. The key factors identified include limited time capacity of supervisors and insufficient time devoted to employee training, as new workers are often assigned to full work tasks before fully mastering required procedures. Based on these findings, measures are proposed to involve experienced employees in the role of trainers (mentors) in order to improve the adaptation process and support productivity growth.
