Abstract
The thesis deals with microstructure changes in Hadfield steel after plastic deformation. The theoretical part is devoted to basic information about an austenitic manganese steel, its composition and properties. The experimental part consists of particular analyzes. The main objective of thesis is investigation either the martensite is formed in Hadfield steel after plastic deformation or the structure still remains completely austenitic with formation of deformation bands and twins.
