Abstract

My thesis is concerned with the concept of vertical steam generator for nuclear power station AP 1000 Westinghouse. The first part describes the primary, secundary and tertiary area of nuclear power station with the specification of the individual parts. Afterwards I have worked on the review of several generations of nuclear reactors. Consequently as described security systems and nuclear power steam generator AP 1000. The practical part of the thesis deals with the thermal calculation of steam generator according to the specified value, proposal of two-level steam separation, calculating hydraulic loss. The final section contains a selection of materials and strength check of individual segments of the steam generator.
