Abstract

The thesis deals with the analysis of the present cutting materials and their working geometry, the testing of the cutting insert and the influence of its geometry on the durability of the cutting tool, the roughness parameters of the machined surface for milling titanium alloy UNS R56 260. The introduction of the thesis describes the current state of machining of titanium and its alloys , A description of the appropriate geometry, and the possible consequent wear effects of the tool in titanium machining. The experimental part is aimed at determining the tool's durability at different cutting and feed speeds.
