Abstract

The thesis focuses on the design and development of manufacturing technology for a pressure sensor utilizing fiber optic technologies. The work thoroughly describes all phases of the manufacturing process, including the selection of suitable materials, component design, production, and subsequent assembly of the entire sensor. Special attention is given to the development of molding forms for membranes and sensor caps, which are crucial for the functionality of the entire device. The work further analyzes the mechanical properties of the materials used and examines their impact on the final properties of the sensor. The mechanical properties of the material also allow for the adaptation of manufacturing techniques to be as efficient and economically advantageous as possible. Although the manufacturing process was successfully implemented and prototype testing showed promising results, the work also identifies the need for further modifications to the sensor to improve its overall performance and reliability. The results and findings from this work provide a basis for further development and optimization of pressure sensors, with an emphasis on practical implementations and potential improvements to the proposed technology.
