Abstract

The Bachelor thesis deals with the study of corrosion-resistant steel and glass ceramics coatings for contact with drinking water. The introduction discusses the history of enamel, individual types and features of glass ceramics coatings. Next part of the thesis includes the technological procedure and the suitability of enamel coatings for contact with drinking water. There is also a suitability of corrosion-resistant steel for contact with drinking water described. The conclusion is devoted to the comparison of experiment and to the total evalutation. Enamel coatings evinced very good results during the experiment. Corrosion-resistant steel evinced worse results during the experiment. It would be convenient to continue these experiments in the future. The purpose to continue will be to prove the incovenience of corrosion-resistant steel for contact with biological environment.
