Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a multifunctional power tower. The first chapter is devoted to physical activity in general, followed by a research of power towers and an analysis of their design. The main part of the thesis focuses on the actual design of the equipment. This section describes the functions of the power tower, the design challenges and their solutions, presented systematically from general concepts to a detailed description of the individual components. This is followed by the computational section, which deals with strength calculations of the most critical points of the structure, and finally, a FEM analysis of the selected assembly is presented. The result of the bachelor thesis is a structural design of the power tower that meets the specified requirements and objectives.
