Abstract

Master thesis is dealing with construction of lapping machine for large balls of ball valves. In first part of the thesis is introduces the lapping process and required parameters. In the next section is a market research. Then created design variants. Own construction of lapping machine is presented then. After presentations is description of machine properties and safety issues. Inspections of made chuck jaw is done by computer method FEM. Analytical methods are used for calculating of initial forces and for design and inspection of machine parts.
