Abstract
This Master Thesis presents results of selection of electrical discharge machining technologies for specific production processes. In the first part of the study, non-conventional technologies and their characteristics are described. Then the electrical discharge machining technologies are presented and their wide-spread use in machinery industry is explained. Based on comparison of individual parameters and measurements, selection of appropriate electrical discharge machining technologies for specific production processes is proposed and a rationale for such selection is provided
