Abstract

The thesis deals with a concept that should improve the effectiveness of handling the cargo at Leoš Janáček airport. The thesis describes current state of the airport and air cargo industry in general. It also covers multi-criteria decision making process of buying the most convenient cargo aircraft. The main thesis' purpose is to suggest particular measures that would lead to airfreight traffic increase at the specific airport.
