Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with engineering design of a device intended to position specific product while its being welded. The introduction deals with brief description of the function of the welded piece, for which the positioner is engineered for. In research, I focused on different types of posotioners and their practical use. That is followed by the choice of appropriate parts, that I am going to compose the positioner with. Calculating report includes calculation of electric motor, gearbox, clutch, shaft, bearings, bolts and strength calculations. Finally, the assembling, setup and maintanence of this device is described. The theses includes the mechanical drawings of said device.
