Studie nového návrhu připojení per pohonu sušicího bubnu

Abstract

Master thesis is dealing with an analysis of the connection of the drying drum drive pens and finding a new design solution of the connection. In the beginning of the thesis there is a description of a drying kiln, categorization of drying kilns and design of a rotary drying kiln. Based on the results of finite element analysis of a pen and their comparison there was new design of the connection made. New design was used in finite element analysis of the drive assembly under operating load and results were compared with results obtained from analysis of the original drive assembly. Specific analysis with different load settings of drive assembly with new design of the connection of pen followed. In the end of the thesis there is analytical fatigue calculation which proves that new design of the connection of a pen is suitable technical solution.
