Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis presents the development of a driver for SICK LMS400 and LMS4000 laser scanners using the .NET platform. The project focuses on enabling effective data acquisition and analysis in Windows applications through these scanners. It describes the operational principles of both devices, compares their technical specifications, and outlines the implementation of a universal driver supporting both legacy LMS400 and advanced LMS4000 models. The solution is validated through a custom C# application tested in real-world scenarios.
