This bachelor thesis deals with a design and verification of a concept of two-cell low-floor one directional tram for feasibility study purposes. In the first part of the thesis an evolution of trams is described on selected examples in given category. External dimensions of the tram cabin are verified according to relevant standard. Based on existing design solutions, the skeleton is designed, and its reinforcement is appropriately arranged using FEM calculation. The proposed skeleton strength worthiness under operational load is validated using FEM calculation. The skeleton is further verified by FEM calculation inspired by EN 15227 according to the company requirements. Accompanying documentation up to demanded extent is located in the bachelor thesis annex.
