Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on assessment of the corporate social responsibility in selected company together with the employee’s perspective. The theoretical part is consisted of the main foundations of the CSR concept, its history, relationship to stakeholders, norms, standards, and the implementation of social responsibility in corporate practice. The methods used included analysis of internal documents, observation, and questionnaire survey. These methods were applied to compile an overview of the company’s activities in all areas of CSR. This step was followed by evaluations and attitudes of the employees towards the establish responsible strategy. A wide range of activities along with positive employee evaluations led to the conclusion that the selected company is socially responsible. However, the research identified opportunities for improving the current situation. Based on the findings, the recommendations are proposed, and its implementation could lead to an overall improvement in the applied strategy and employee satisfaction. The thesis contributed to a better understanding of the relationship between corporate social responsibility and employee’s perspective in selected company.
