Abstract

The aim of the dissertation is to make a suggestion and strength verify crank mechanism. For this dissertation I have chosen an engine from the car Ferrari 360 Modena. The dissertation is divided into several parts. By way of introduction I describe the history of Ferrari cars which is focused on the motors in type V8 and the description of selected motor. In the next part, there are described problems about piston combustion engines. The next part is about make model of motor in 1D. The most extensive part of the dissertation is composed of strength calculations and the description about individual parts of crank mechanism. On the basis of calculations, there are created 3D models of each part and there is made their strength analysis. Finally, there is my evaluation of achieved results and also the conclusion.
