Abstract

This bachelor thesis presents the design of the screw conveyor for transport of meat products from the cutmix machine Weiler 806 to the paddle mixing machine. The introduction of this thesis includes the basic division and examples of use of screw conveyors in the food industry. Then the conveyor capacity calculation follows, as well as the detailed project of the drive station with the calculation of its chain gear. The following section shows all necessary strength and checking calculations. This bachelor thesis also contains the drawing of the system project for the meat product transport, as well as the assembly drawing of the screw conveyor with detailed structure design of the drive station.
