Abstract

The master thesis deals with solutions of flexible properties of engine mounts and dynamic behavior of flexible properties of these element. In the introduction there are described the most frequently using materials like: metal springs, rubbers, corks. It also describes the characteristics of vibration and its effects on the human body. Measurement of stiffness was performed by static method to check the following measurements. Dynamic measurements were made by two different methods. The first with free weights mounted on the exciter. In the second measurement the spring was positioned between the driver and a solid base. Results of the methods were compared, evaluated and plotted on a graphs. On the basis measured data procedure to design of engine mounts is developed.
